Hey! I thought I'd share my latest map here aswell, it's up on the Q2 Café too. Maybe it can provide some help/tips on how to improve your mapping skills, I learned a ton from making this one. Basically I tried to do as many "DM" designers do, make a layout and make sure it works/flows before adding details Some technical problems with QuaRK limited some stuff I could do with it but overall I'm happy with the result. Still, if you find bugs/errors or texture/map problems please let me know so I can fix, also item placement is experimental at this point. Wow, that's an awesome map! Thanks for sharing this one. I've had some personal things to take care of during the last couple of months but I'll be continuing my work next week.

It's a small community, the more places we can link together the better! Are you working on your Q2 SP map or Hexen 2 stuff? I'm going to start a Q2 SP project myself, I'm thinking about a puzzle-ish map with monsters, "oh a broken bridge blocks my path!, how do I get around this" and then have some sidetracks to solve that. Classic stuff really but have it be something more than just finding a button somewhere, something more complicated.. Cheers!

Yes indeed! At the moment I'm working on my Q2 SP map. Seems like a very nice idea for your next project. I'll be making some more Hexen II maps in the future but my next project will be for another game. Not sure which one it's going to be yet... Anyway, good luck and be sure to post some screenshots!
